The attached YouTube video describes a recent project I completed for a friend – a Honda self-propelled lawn mower engine swap. The original engine seized, probably due to an oil-related failure. The mower’s owner found a good deal on a used machine on Craig’s List that had a defective self-propelled mechanism. I was expecting the swap to be a simple remove-and-replace, but it wasn’t quite that simple. The project turned out to be slightly more involved than we both expected but was ultimately successful.
